Anyone watch soccer/football (not NFL type). I don't really follow to much, but some of the guys I work with do, so I may find myself catching some of the games this time around. Something tells me that this was the wrong place to post something about soccer. I see alot of (are teh steelers going to win again?) type comments coming from this crowd.

at least our women dominate soccer lol. we do suck tho, to busy playing other sports I guess, all the athloetic talent goes to baseball or football or basketball. Im sure if we invested long term money into a league and athletes could make a 7 figure living off soccer we would have a kick ass team but otherwise, we will always suck.

Does suck to watch my own team lose, but I gotta give it to Ghanna. They were not expected to make it out of the first round. Also, if I'm not mistaken this was their first trip to the world cup. Go them for proving everyone wrong. I heard some crazy shit the other day while watching the game, that each player gets a $20,000.00 bonus for every win they recieve in the world cup. That is some crazy shit, only thing bad about playing for Ghanna in the world cup is occasionally being referred to as "Ghannarians" by the announcers. Makes the US look just as bad for being beaten by a bunch of rampant STD's running around on the field.
